A Journalist Fooled By An Online Katrina Kaif’s Impostor

KATRINA KAIF is definitely one of the most-in-demand leading ladies in Bollywood. Every celebrity journalist worth their salt is trying to catch an interview of her anywhere possible. But on the web, is a very bad idea… isn’t it? But this is exactly what happened recently.

Bollywood publicist DALE BHAGWAGAR happened to receive a call for help from a Florida based journalist. Reportedly, she works for a UK website and had a chat with a person called KATRINA KAIF (Impostor), on the social networking platform Face Book. The person also provided her an email address and even confirmed a One-on-One interview with her. Obviously ecstatic, though skeptic too, the journalist decided to inquire with Dale Bhagwagar from Mumbai. Dale handled Katrina’s PR for her debut film BOOM. Moreover, the journalist knew him well as SHILPA SHETTY’S ex-publicist too. Then the obvious thing took place. Though Bhagwagar does not handle Katrina’s work, he asked the journalist to cross-check with the actress over the phone before proceeding with an interview and helped her out with Katrina’s number. The journalist got in touch with Katrina and was surprised to find out that the person she had the web chat with was indeed an impostor. Now, the publicist has advised the journalist to mail the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell in Mumbai and inform them about this, so that they can track the impostor.
