Amitabh Bachchan Hospitalised On His 66th Birthday

AMITABH BACHCHAN, who turned 66 today, has been hospitalised in a strange and unfortunate event. He was taken to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai’s Vile Parle west suburb early this afternoon as he was suffering with severe abdominal pain since last night. The hospital has been cordoned off by police as they expect a lot of fans reaching the place to show their solidarity.

The members of Bachchan family including his son ABHISHEK BACHCHAN and daughter-in-law AISHWARYA BACHCHAN and his daughter SHWETA NANDA are present at the hospital. But they claimed it as a routine check up. But the fact that he was taken on a stretcher seems to be suggesting otherwise. Earlier, in December 2005, Amitabh Bachchan was successfully operated upon for infection, inflammation and perforation in his small and large intestines at Leelavati Hospital. Bachchan was admitted to Escorts Hospital in New Delhi on November 28, 2005, following complaint of abdominal pain and was brought to Leelavati Hospital, where he underwent treatment for almost two months.
