Dearth Of Talented Directors In Tollywood Forcing Actors Away

Tollywood’s talent is so dried up that finding no talented directors… actors are fleeing Telugu cinema in search of good cinema that can shape up their careers. Recently, there have been two prominent examples…

Adi In Mirugam And Vaibhav In Godava
  • Adi is the new budding actor that has really shaken up many heads with his tremendous performance in his Tamil movie Mirugam which is dubbed as Mrugam in Telugu. For those of you wondering as to who the hell we are talking about… he is the same actor that made a disastrous debut through Teja’s Oka V Chitram. Son of Ravi Raja Pinisetty, a successful director, Adi’s earlier name was Sai Pradeep. His performance was so powerful that one of the most sought after commercial directors, V V Vinayak is planning to cast him in the lead in his next project.
  • This is not the first case of a Telugu actor failing to get launched in Telugu and making it big after debuting through talented Tamil directors. Vaibhav, son of A Kodandaramireddy, also failed to click through his debut Godava in Telugu. Then he turned to Tamil and made it big with the tremendous success of Saroja.

So, it is beyond clear that even our own veteran Telugu directors prefer Tamil directors. Indian Filmdom sincerely hopes that this situation would change for better and new and fresh talent would emerge from Telugu as well.
