Director Prabhu Deva Missed A Great Chance And yet Happy About It…

PRABHU DEVA is one of the most celebrated Choreographers in India. He later turned to become a commercially successful Director and he wanted to showcase (repackage to pay his respects) one of his yesteryear favourite song tracks composed by none other than Music Maestro ILLAYARAJA. In fact, he was on the verge of going ahead with his plans.

But as fate would have it, it was news to him that Director SASI had already done that very successfully for him in SUBRAMANIAPURAM. unable to control his curiosity, Prabhu Deva went to a theater to watch it himself. He was all the more surprised when the audience gave the song SIRU PONMANAI ASAIYUM, a befitting ovation. Extremely satisfied with the outcome, he wholeheartedly congratulated Director Sasi for the excellent adaptation of the song.
