DOSTANA had yet another special screening and this time it was for a gay community website from Mumbai. The movie was very well received for the obvious reasons and also that the movie was very entertaining. KARAN JOHAR goes to great lengths to make this movie a great success and this is one of those gestures that would make a lot of people happy.

As for the Box Office performance of the movie, it is doing extremely well with around 75-80% occupancy rates all over. Some of the leading multiplex chains feel that Dostana’s collection at the Box Office would definitely cross the figures that were achieved by the recent releases like GOLMAAL RETURNS which grossed around Rs 72 Crore in just 1 week. This was possible as the movie was a huge release worldwide with 1000 prints.
