Golmaal Returns Raked In Rs 72 Crore In The First Week Worldwide

WOW! I really thought that Bollywood has been maturing in 2006 when Rang De Basanti and other good movies released. But in fact, the quality of successful movies is deteriorating each passing day. Earlier this year, it was the one of the most stupid movies Singh Is Kinng that became the king of the Box Office. And now, it is the turn of Golmaal Returns. This movie starring Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Celina Jaitley, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and others raked in Rs 72 Crore in the first week of its release.

Golmaal Returns have been minting money since the day it got released worldwide. Ekta Kapoor’s production company Shree Ashthavinayak Cine Vision Ltd., is certainly laughing its way to the bank. If this trend is any indication… it is projecting a very stupid face of Bollywood. I can just hope that this trend will soon reverse to project a more sensible and bold face of Bollywood.

Hey Kalcha,
the new look is good. keep it up.
CHAITANYA,
Thanks for the support. I wanted to make navigation as easy as possible. If all goes well according to plan… I plan to review almost every upcoming Telugu movie.
Now, that’s great news. But try to give atleast your opinion of Surya S/O Krishnan.
Chaitanya
In my humble opinion, “Surya s/o Krishnan” is an absolutely marvelous story… but with lethargic Screenplay. Scintillating performance by “Surya”. Also, one of my favourite actors “Kamal Hassan” should learn how Make-up should be underplayed for maximum realistic look. Dasavataram was simply gaudy. Gautam Menon and team were brilliant in showing variations in ages of Surya with so little make-up. All in all, I felt very disappointed that such a great story had gone wasted.
Thanks kalcha for your opinion. I will go and check it out for Surya’s act. I’ve heard they’ve trimmed the movie by about 30 minutes.
