HIJACK Audio Release Function

Audio Release of movie HIJACK on 30th July 2008 Mumbai, 30th of July 2008 : EROS INTERNATIONAL in association with ALEYA MOTION MAGIC released the music album of their action-thriller film HIJACK. Present at the function were eminent people from the film industry including the star cast of Hijack- Shiney Ahuja, Esha Deol, Kaveri Jha, K K Raina etc. and also Sunil Lulla of Eros International and producer-director of the movie Kunal Shivdasani.

Amidst all the glamour and energy at BJN Banquet, Fun Republic, Andheri, the evening also saw the emergence of yet another composer-duo Justin-Uday. Speaking at the occasion, Sunil Lulla , President - Eros International, India said, With its diverse selection of artists bound together though strong melodies and a contemporary sound by Justin Uday, the album is a sure shot winner and we are extremely excited about releasing the Hijack soundtrack on Eros Music. Kunal Shivdasani, of Aleya Motion Magic and also the director of Hijack speaks like an extremely satisfied captain, You will have to hear the songs to believe how beautifully composed each one of them is! The music given by Justin-Uday does absolute justice to the lyrics and the feel of the scenes. The film revolves around a grave situation, yet its amazing how we could incorporate different types of songs. What is noteworthy is that the songs present have some sort of a continuity attached to the story of the film. I am extremely proud of each person who has worked on this film. The film will be releasing on the 29thof August all over The music album of Hijack consists of a lively romantic track called “Aksar” sung by K.K that gets the listener’s feet tapping. It also has a sad version in Shaan’s voice. Sunidhi Chauhan has lent her voice to “Dekh Dekh” which is a club number with an element of oomph in it. The emotional song “Koi Na Jaane” in the voice of K.K will move ones heart with its poignancy. The title track has been sung by Suraj. Besides, the composer duo has created two remixes (Aksar & Dekh Dekh) and an unplugged version of Aksar. The lyricist of all the above tracks is Kumar, who has picked up the right words to suit the mood of each song, Says Justin, The album of Hijack consists of eight tracks, each of them being extremely different from the other- there is variety in the music, ranging from a romantic track to a disco number to an emotional one and of course remixes! Uday, who is all praises for the movie and their work limits his excitement to saying I am confident about the music. The response for the first track “Aksar” has been heartening.
