WHY DID I VENTURE TO WATCH THIS MOVIE?

IT so happened that I met my Honey at a coffee shop in a multiplex a bit far away… As we were sipping the last drops of coffee ever so slowly, the first drops of rain splashed on the glass windows around us. So, unable to get out on a bike, we ventured into Screen 3 screening Money Hai Toh Honey Hai with my Honey in my arms. And that’s absolutely NOT how I happened to watch this movie guys n gals. It was just a lame excuse to save myself from the embarrassment. In fact, I was just a FOOL on that day to watch this movie. The only satisfaction that I got out of this exercise is that I was NOT ALONE… as there were a bunch of fellow FOOLS around me in a dabba theater.

THE CRUX THAT DOES NOT MATTER…

Still, if you are interested to read…

1 Elderly Fool chooses 6 Younger Fools (Sorry, 5 younger fools and 1 elderly fool…) via their Vodafone Numbers (yeah, that was part of in-film ads)… to become his Waaris(es). There is that ubiquitous Manager Cum Villain that tries to smash the wits of these six fools. Whether or how it all happened (does it even matter?)… is the rest of the movie.

HIGH LIGHTS

Music By NITIN ARORA and SONY CHANDY is the only high point of the film. Read my review on the movie’s music HERE…

Surprisingly, it is KIM SHARMA that excels in her couple of scenes. She behaves natural and stays with the part that she plays. Upen Patel is surprisingly fit for the role… of a Model of course. Archana Puran Singh does her character with ease.

LOW LIGHTS
  • Govinda is unbearably heavy and young. He acts desperately cool and ends up being just a wannabe.
  • Hansika Motwani seems to be the future princess Hammer of Bollywood. I hope she changes her tack or else the audience will tackle her.
  • Aftab Shivdasani as always isn’t funny at all and over acts the part. Although I sincerely feel that he has completely buried the hidden actor in him. He is made for bigger things if only he quits these brainless shit comedies and tries to be sensible and not overtly funny.
  • Celina Jaitley cannot act… at least in the foreseeable future. But of course she will continue to get the parts courtesy her curvy skin show. Surprisingly there isn’t any here. Ganesh Acharya Jii, wake up from your deep slumber… she is made for precisely to do that as of today.
  • Prem Chopra should take rest for his own healthy life.
  • Ravi Kishan is much better an actor and needs much meatier roles that demand excellence from him.
  • I didn’t knew that a great actor like Manoj Bajpai has to try this hard to make his living.
  • Muazzam Baig, the writer of the movie must be going through a nightmare as the producer of the movie Kumar Mangat might be counting his fingers… the crores he lost on this piece of shit.

FINAL THOUGHTS

It is embarrassing to find yourself watching Money Hai Toh Honey Hai anywhere… that is our job… save yourselves…
