ROCK ON!! Might Beat Indian Filmdom Box Office Prediction

ROCK ON!! might just pip our in-house Box Office Prediction. We earlier PREDICTED that it’s Box Office performance would be ABOVE AVERAGE. We still feel that it is too early to declare ROCK ON!! as a HIT. The surest thing as of now is that it would neither be a BLOCKBUSTER nor a FLOP. It would collect somewhere in the middle making it a contender for being a BELOW AVERAGE or AVERAGE or ABOVE AVERAGE or HIT. The most likely outcome is an ABOVE AVERAGE performance at the Box Office Counter with slightly dim chances of creeping in to the territory of being labeled as a HIT. It would take at least one more week to come to the conclusion.

According to us, ROCK ON!! emerged as the Side-Beneficiary of the recently released stupid films. We gotta admit that although ROCK ON!! did not satisfy our taste buds, it is miles ahead in sensibilities in comparison to the recent duds and so it is pervading through the psyche of the youth. And also it has that novelty factor that is associated with a new toy gifted to a kid.

Amidst all of this, a lot hype (rumour) is being generated from with in the team of Rock On!! that a sequel (ROCK ON!! – 2) is in the offing. Obviously, these bits and pieces of rumours and some smart denials would serve the purpose of sustaining the interest of the audiences. In line with this, Producer RITESH SIDHWANI says, “Completely untrue (rumour). We have no such plans. We’re busy enjoying the success. Just can’t think of anything else.”
